This course will expose students to the study of mineral and natural resources in Nigeria and across the world, the problems involved in minning and exploitation of these resources, as well as the possible solutions. The natural resources found in the environment need to be conserved hence method of conservation and problems facing conservation of these resources. Basic concepts of the environment such as biodiversity, sustainable
development among others will be discussed.
At the end of the course the students will be able to list the mineral resources that can be found in the country
